Richard D. Gwydir, of Cutchogue, died on September 24, 2014. He was 72 years old.
Born in Queens on October 15, 1941, he was the son of Daniel and Josephine Gwydir.
He was an electrician with the International Brotherhood Of Electrical Workers, Local 25. In his free time he enjoyed boating and golf.
Gwydir is survived by his wife Judith, and his son: Scott and wife Jodi Tom and his wife Aly; Ted and his wife Laura; and Dan and his wife Sandy. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren: Zachary, Abigail , Kate, Holly, Shae, Emily, Erin, Hannah, Emma, Devyn, Kylin and Ethan.
The family will receive visitors on Friday, September 26 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Coster-Heppner Funeral Home in Cutchogue. A service will be held Saturday, September 27 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel, Main Road, Mattituck.
