Mary A. Kelly of Greenport, formerly of Riverhead, died on October 4, 2014. She was 94 years old.
She was born in Queens on March 24, 1920, the daughter of Charles and Julia Keogh.
Kelly worked as a secretary at TRYAC Truck and Equipment. She was a former Columbiette and active member of St. John the Evangelist Church in Riverhead.
In addition to spending time with family and friends, she enjoyed choir, art and reading.
She is predeceased by her husband Timothy in 1992 and her brother John Keogh. She is survived by her children, Susan Ruthinowski of Aquebogue, Joanne Knorr of Rochester, Mary Jean, of Eastport, Bill, of Aquebogue and Timothy, of Seattle, Washington. She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, October 7 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Mc Lauglin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead. A mass will be held on Wednesday, October 8 at 10:15 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church in Riverhead. Interment will follow at Calverton National Cemetery.
