Waclaw Wilczynski, of Riverhead, formerly of Hampton Bays, died Nov. 10 at Peconic Bay Medical Center. He was 89 years old.
Wilczynski was born in Biernicha, Poland on April 13, 1925, the son of Andrej and Anna (Miezianko) Wilczynski. He worked as a broker in Polish State Court.
He was predeceased by his wife Cecylia in 1984 and is survived by his daughters, Jolanta Pastyka, of Riverhead, Wieslawa Ploski, of Toronto, Canada, Elizabeth Wilczynski, of Hampton Bays, and Anna Podbielski of Toronto, Canada. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The family will receive visitors on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Reginald H. Tuthill Funeral Home, 406 E. Main St., Riverhead. A funeral Mass will be offered by the Rev. Robert Kuznik on Friday, Nov. 14 at 11 a.m. at St. Isidore R.C. Church, 622 Pulaski St., Riverhead. Interment will follow at St. Isidore’s Cemetery.
