Cops: Woman cuffed for allegedly stealing from former employer

A Kings Park woman was busted at her home after she allegedly stole several hundred dollars from her former place of employment, police said.

According to Southold Town police, Susan Hartmann, 46, was arrested on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. in Kings Park and charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor, after an investigation revolving around the theft of the funds.

No additional information about Hartmann’s place of employment was immediately available.
