Robert W. Tartaglia of Riverhead died on July 15 at Peconic Bay Medical Center.
He was born to Salvatore Tartaglia and Mildred Savio in Brooklyn. A United States Army veteran, he enjoyed gardening, landscaping, and drawing in his free time.
Predeceased by his parents, he is survived by his sisters, Ellen Quinlan of South Carolina, Bunny Swiatocha of Riverhead and Sandy Tartaglia of Michigan, as well as five nieces and nephews and five great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family will receive visitors on July 20 at Reginald H. Tuthill Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until noon. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 12 p.m. July 20. Interment will follow at Calverton National Cemetery. The family asks that memorial donations be made to cancer research.
