Louis S. Zarzecki of Orient died July 30, 2015 at Stony Brook Veterans Home. He was 85 years old.
Born in Mattituck on August 25, 1929, he was the son of Joseph and Mary (Kobjenska) Zarzecki.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1953 and worked as a high-voltage lineman on Plum Island. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing.
Predeceased in 2003 by his wife Sandra (nee Tabor) he is survived by his brothers, David Zazeski and Anthony Zarzecki, by his sisters, Mary H. Kirwin, Josephine Sorenson, Nellie Falcigno and Rose Zazeski, and by many loving nieces and nephews.
Memorial visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 7 from 4 to 7 p.m. A memorial service will be conducted during visitation at 4:15 p.m. Burial of cremains will be private.
