Albert Levasseur of Riverhead died on August 16, 2015. He was 87 years old.
He was born on December 20, 1927 in Canada to Andre and Maria Levasseur. He worked as a carpenter for Levasseur Carpentry, and enjoyed landscaping at home in his free time.
Predeceased by a son, Robert, in 2012, he is survived by his wife, Jeannette; sons Richard, Patrick, and Peter; a daughter, Lisa Schlecht; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home. A service will be held on 11 a.m. at St. Isidore Church.
