Grace & Grit owners get go-ahead for new bridal tasting room on Main Road

Two business owners got the go-ahead for a new bridal tasting room on Main Road in Southold this week.

At this week’s Southold planning board meeting, Grace & Grit caterers received site plan approval for their application.

The plan is for the proposed conversion of an existing 1,021 square foot retail store to a six-seat restaurant and two parking spaces on 0.13 acres in the hamlet business zoning district. The property is located at 55750 Route 25, northeast of Hobart Road.

Owners Stephanie Pincar-Coleman and Jennilee Morris said the plan is to create a commissary kitchen for their catering business, with a tasting area up front. The goal is to hold scheduled tastings, as well as wedding showcases, featuring their New American cuisine and locally sourced produce and seafood.

The site is located between Mullen Motors and the Grateful Deli.
