Nikola J. Kumbatovich of Riverhead died on October 2, 2015. He was 64 years old.
He was born on October 16, 1950 in New York City to Nikola and Gloria Kumbatovich. He married his wife, Barbara (Etheridge), on May 27, 1989 in Southampton. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and enjoyed Nascar and Riverhead Raceway and was a Cowboys fan.
Predeceased by his parents, he is survived by his wife, Barbara, of Riverhead; children Robert and Kevin Kumbatovich of Southampton, Christina McDonald of Connecticut, Erika Etheridge of Flanders and Muhammad Fulani of Riverhead; by his sister Linda Cruz of Florida; and by seven grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors on Friday, Oct. 9 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Galilee Church of God in Christ, 87 Old Quogue Road, Riverhead, New York. Services will begin immediately after visitation. Burial will be private.
