Virginia H. Maginn of Mattituck died at the Hampton Center for Rehabilitation on Thursday, November 19, 2015. She was 84 years old.
She was born on November 30, 1930 in Queens to Helen and Vincent Crawford.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, painting, writing, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Parish.
She is predeceased by her husband Cornelius, to whom she had been married for 57 years when he died in 2009, and her daughter, Catherine O’Brien who died this year. She is survived by a son, James, and daughters Margaret Clennan, Eileen Villano, and Susan McAllister and twelve grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 20 from 6 p.m to 9 p.m, at the Costner-Heppner Funeral Home on Main Road in Cutchogue. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 21 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel church on Main Rd. in Mattituck. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart cemetery.
