Gerald J. Stanonis, of Southold (formerly of Laurel and Center Moriches) died on January 26, 2016 at the age of 73. He was a retired Librarian at Center Moriches Public Library and Suffolk County Historical Society. Gerry was the loving brother of Robert Stanonis, Laura Jossing and the late Ronald C. Stanonis and a caring uncle to Maria and Matthew. Friends may call on Sunday, January 31 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Mattituck. Services will be held at 4 p.m. Interment will take place on Monday at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Cemetery in Middle Village, New York.
