Lou Jean Dickerson of Cutchogue died on April 18, 2016 at Stony Brook University Hospital. She was 85 years old.
She was born on December 23, 1930 in Mason, Oklahoma to Thomas and Lydia (nee Tilley) Bluford and attended Haskell Institute in Lawrence, Kansas.
A resident of the North Fork for nearly 65 years, she had worked at Hazeltine in Riverhead.
She is survived by her children: Sheree Graeser (Ron) of Cutchogue, Greg D. Dickerson (Debbie) of Mattituck and Mark Dickerson of Ct. and Laurel, and one granddaughter: Jordyn Dickerson.
Calling hours and funeral services were held on April 23 at DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Mattituck. Reverend Pat Smith of the Mattituck Presbyterian Church officiated.
