Gloria M. Magel of Calverton died May 16, 2016 in the Riverhead Care Center. She was 85 years old.
She was born in Brooklyn on October 8, 1930 to George Cerillo and Elizabeth Walls.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time at the Riverhead Senior Center.
Predeceased by her husband Edward, she is survived by her sons Edward of Germany and Steven of Georgia, her daughter Arlene Beatty of Long Beach, California, her brother John Cerillo, nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors Sunday, May 22 from 2 to 5 p.m. at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead.
A service will be held Monday, May 30 at 9:30 a.m. in St. Johns R.C. Church with interment following in Calverton National Cemetery.
