Southold Town Police announced the cancellation in an statement issued last night:
“After consulting with the National Weather Service, which has forecasted heavy rain and possible thunderstorms for Monday, May 30, 2016, Southold Town Supervisor Russell has canceled the town’s Memorial Day Parade scheduled to take place in Greenport Village on this date.”
