Luther Schoen of East Marion died on on July 14, 2016. He was 74 years old.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 17 at the Horton-Mathie Funeral Home between the hours of 4 and 8 p.m. A wake service will be held at 7 p.m. The Rev. Garret M. Johnson will officiate. A funeral Mass will be held Monday, July 18, at 10 a.m. at St. Agnes R.C. Church on Front Street in Greenport.
Interment with honors will follow at Calverton National Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105-1942. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
