Valerie D. Santangelo of Garden City and Waterview Terrace in Jamesport died on August 10, 2016 at Peconic Bay Medical Center. She was 51 years old.
She was born in Jamaica on July 17, 1965 to Joseph “Jay” T. and Bernice (Bossler) Santangelo.

The family received friends on August 11 at DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Mattituck. The Liturgy of Christian Burial was celebrated on August 12th at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church in Riverhead. Interment followed at St. John’s R.C. Cemetery.
