John L. Robinson of Riverhead died August 4, 2016 in Peconic Bay Medical Center. He was 62 years old.
He was born in Riverhead on January 26, 1954 to Eugene Robinson Sr. and Mary Edley.
He was a self-employed carpenter in Riverhead.
He is survived by his father Deacon Eugene Robinson Sr., his mother Mary Edley, his girlfriend Rose Hamrick, his daughter Tasha Robinson, his son, Lamar Robinson, his siblings Everett (Shirley) Robinson, Eugene (Caulie) Robinson, Mary Brown, and Yvette Bright and his grandchildren Antonio, Nikia and Nathan.
The family received visitors on August 9. A funeral service was held at the Galilee Church of Christ in God on August 10 with Rev. Roy Pennon and Rev. Lillian Pennon officiating.
