Ekaterini Sakarellos of Greenport died Oct. 9, 2016 at San Simeon on the Sound. She was 88 years old.
She was born in Russia on March 6, 1928 to John and Elizabeth (Papadopoulou) Petridis.
She was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed cooking.
Predeceased by her husband Georgios in 2015, she is survived by her son Konstantino of Queens, her daughter Elizabeth of Greenport and two grandchildren.
Her cremains were interred at East Marion Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Coster-Heppner Funeral Home in Cutchogue.
