Jan Gzella of Riverhead, formerly of Barcin, Poland, died October 16. 2016 in Peconic Bay Medical Center. He was 65 years old.
He was born June 14, 2016 in Drzycim, Poland to Stanislaw and Stanislawa Gzella.
He was a house manager in Westhampton. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife Renata of Riverhead, his daughter Agniszka Blaszczyk of Poland, his son Adam Gzella of England, one brother, four sisters and two grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, Oct. 18 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home. A funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 9 a.m. at St. Isidore R.C. Church. Interment will follow in St. Isidore cemetery.
