Robert A. Putney of Riverhead died Nov. 30, 2016. He was 69 years old.
He was born in Roslyn on Feb. 21, 1947, the son of Frank and Shirley Putney.
He graduated from Division Avenue High School in Levittown in 1965. He worked in computer repairs in the Riverhead area. In his spare time, he enjoyed computer games, electronics and computers. He was a lifetime member of the NRA.
He is survived by his son Robert of Coram, his daughter Jennifer of Holtsville, his brother George of Plainview, his former spouse Virginia and two grandchildren.
