Santa and Mrs. Claus arrived at the Mattituck Plaza shopping center in style Saturday afternoon compliments of the Mattituck Fire Department, who escorted him in on a shiny fire truck with sirens blasting.
“Santa Day,” hosted by the Mattituck Chamber of Commerce, is a North Fork tradition that features a free movie, hot chocolate, caroling and a visit with Santa for lucky boys and girls.
