Police: Mattituck man, 29, charged with DWI after traffic stop

A Mattituck man was arrested on a driving while intoxicated charge last night after he was stopped by police for operating a vehicle with a defective headlight, Southold Town Police said in a press release.

Police said Daniel C. Brisotti, 29, was operating a 2010 Toyota with a defective headlight eastbound on Route 25 in Mattituck last night at about 11:15 p.m.

After the traffic stop, Brisotti was found to be intoxicated, police said. He was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where he was processed and held for arraignment, police said.
