The Suffolk County Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for a missing Greenport Village man who suffers from a seizure disorder.

Anthony Wind, 60, of 205 Bay Avenue, Apartment 2S was last seen in Bay Shore yesterday, according to the alert. Police believe Wind was taking a cab from Bay Shore to the Babylon train station. Officers believe Wind was trying to get to Ronkonkoma, where he could get a train to Greenport.

Wind is white, 5 feet, 11 inches tall and approximately 170 pounds with a fair complexion and green eyes.

Anyone with information about Wind’s location is asked to contact the Southold Police Department at 631-765-2600 or 911.

As a reminder, Silver Alert is a program implemented in Suffolk County that allows local law enforcement to share information with media outlets about individuals with special needs who have been reported missing.
