Aid to Developmentally Disabled names new executive director

Aid to the Developmentally Disabled, an organization dedicated to providing rehabilitative services to individuals with developmental disabilities, recently named Charles Evdos as its new executive director.

Evdos previously worked with United Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County for over 13 years as its director of development. He also worked at Long Island Head Start as its deputy executive director, and at APPLE, Inc. as the chief operating officer as well as chief financial officer. Evdos brings over 40 years of experience in fundraising, major gifts, estate planning, finance, operations and business management. He has five children and 11 grandchildren.

“I love what I do,” said Evdos, “I am eager to bring my experience in successful fundraising and business management to this organization. I’ve set goals for this year and beyond, and put a strategic plan into action. We have a great team here to help make it happen.”
