As a bitter wind blew down Main Road in Cutchogue this afternoon, hundreds braved the cold to cheer on marchers in the 13th annual St. Patrick’s Day parade.

Pipe bands, fire departments and their marching bands and dozens of community groups made their way from Cox Lane to the Village Green, Grand Marshal George Sullivan waving to friends and neighbors along the way.

Assemblyman Anthony Palumbo, County Legislator Al Krupski, Southold council members Jill Doherty and James Dinizio, Trustee Nick Krupski, and Assessor Rich Caggiano marched the length of the route and then joined parade organizer and emcee Joe Corso on the reviewing stand opposite New Suffolk Road.

The parade is co-sponsored by the North Fork Chamber of Commerce and the Cutchogue Fire Department.
