Tonight’s debate for Greenport Village Trustee candidates will begin at 6 p.m. at Floyd Memorial Library.
The start time was previously advertised as 7 p.m.
The debate is hosted by SoutholdLOCAL and The Suffolk Times. Questions will be posed to the candidates by Suffolk Times executive editor Grant Parpan and SoutholdLOCAL editor and copublisher Denise Civiletti.
Three candidates will be participating in the debate: incumbents Mary Bess Phillips and Julia Robins and challenger Paul Kreiling. Candidate Mary Given announced yesterday she is no longer actively pursuing election to the village board.
