Elizabeth J. Drumm of Greenport, formerly of Mattituck, died on March 17, 2017. She was 79 years old.
She was born December 28, 1937 to Mary Bradley and Elliot Hooghkirk in Copiague. She graduated from St. Mary’s School in Manhattan in 1955.
She worked as a telephone operator for New York Telephone before retiring in 1990. She was also a school bus driver for the Mattituck – Cutchogue School District working for the Sunrise Bus Company.
Predeceased by her husband Walter G. Drumm in 1989, she is survived by her children, Michael (Jo-Ann) of Southold, Susan Mickaliger (Kenneth) of Southold, Debra Doubrava (Derrick) of Clintonville, New York, seven grandchildren, Gabriella and Elizabeth Drumm, Kevin, Kaitlyn and Allison Mickaliger and Erin and Matthew Doubrava and by several nieces and nephews.
The Liturgy of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, March 25 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Roman Catholic Church in Mattituck. Interment followed at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery in Cutchogue.
