Josephine Brill of Riverhead died at the Acadia Care Center on March 26, 2017. She was 95 years old.
She was born on January 15, 1922 to Michael and Josephine Stankowits and was a homemaker who enjoyed painting in her spare time.
Predeceased by her husband Frank in 2009, her sons Robert in 2007 and Frank in 2009, she is survived by her daughter Janice Kozlovsky of Baldwin, her sister Vilma Herzog of Riverhead and two grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, March 28 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home.
Memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
