Floyd Memorial Library holds free film festival: shows every Thursday night

Lights, camera, action! Head on down to the Floyd Memorial Library every Thursday night at 6 p.m. for a free movie showing.

Here’s the schedule of shows:

April 13 Eight Days a Week – a documentary about the Beatles

April 20 Paterson – the story of s week in the life of a young man named Paterson of Paterson, New Jersey

April 27 The Eagle Huntress – a documentary about the first girl in twelve generations of her Kazakh family to become an eagle huntress.

May 4  Masaan – the story of how four lives intersect along the Ganges.  Bring a potluck dish to share.

May 11 Little Men – two boys have their friendship tested by their parents’ arguing with each other.

May 18 I Am Not Your Negro – documentary about race in modern America

May 25 Aferim! – a mystery set in the early 1800s in Romania

June 1 What We Do in the Shadows – documentary about a group of vampires who live together in New Zealand

June 8 Corazon de Leon – a comedic romance set in Argentina

June 15 Hunt for Wilderpeople – a national manhunt takes place for a rebellious kid and his foster uncle. FFF Spring 2017
