The Southold Town Board is taking the show on the road next month.
The board will hold its May 23 meeting at Peconic Landing in Greenport. The work session begins at 9 a.m. and the regular meeting takes place at 4:30. Both will be held in the auditorium.
The mobile town board meeting is “an effort to further engage civic participation,” the town said in a press release.
Members of the public are invited to attend and “observe their local government in action.” The public will also have the opportunity to provide comments and/or ask questions of the town board.
