Elena M. Gray of Flanders died May 5, 2017 at the Kanas Center for Hospice Care in Quiogue. She was 54 years old.
She was born on September 5, 1962 in the Dominican Republic to Jesus and Josefa Marte.
She graduated from William Floyd High School in 1980 and worked as a nurse. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting and singing.
Predeceased by her husband Jeffrey and her mother Josefa, she is survived by her children Jeffrey of Mastic Beach, Edwardo of Flanders and Rosemary of Coram, her father Jesus of Riverhead, her siblings Aura of Wading River, Marcos of New Jersey, Kattia of New Jersey, Jesus H. of Riverhead and Jesus I Jr. of New Jersey.
The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, May 9 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home. A funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. on May 10 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Riverhead Cemetery.
