NFCT plans ninth annual Building on Tradition fundraiser, June 8

The North Fork Community Theater is holding its ninth annual fundraiser, the Building on Tradition Campaign Gala, to ensure that its future continues to be bright.

The gala will be held at Sparkling Pointe Vineyard and Winery on June 8 at 7 p.m. The event will feature hors d’oeuvres, a buffet dinner, live performances by the NFCT company, including songs from members of the NFCT company and a preview from the cast of the Youth on Stage’s 2017 summer show Thoroughly Modern Millie, a live auction, and raffle prizes.

All income from the gala will be used to support renovations at the theater.

Individual tickets are $125 which includes buffet dinner and local wine and beer. Tickets for attendees 21 to 30 years old are $75 and tickets for youths under age 21 are $50. Sparkling Supporter tickets are $150 per person and include recognition in the gala’s program. Reserved seating for groups of eight or more Sparkling Supporters is available for $1,200.

The theater is looking for raffle prizes and/or donations. Patrons of the theater can help by donating a raffle prize, going to local businesses and asking them to donate a gift certificate or an item, or sending a donation for theater personnel to purchase an item to be raffled off. The theater is also looking for business sponsors. Local businesses can place an ad in the program.
