Organizers of the first annual North Fork Dock Diving Pet Expo and Fundraiser held a preview of the event this afternoon at Greenport Harbor Brewing Company in Peconic.
Several Canine Companions for Independence dogs and their owners were on hand to watch a demonstration by champion dock diver Tango Munch Pitbull.
The weekend-long event benefits three local organizations: The North Fork Animal Welfare League, Southold’s American Legion Burton Potter post and the Canine Companions for Independence.
The North Fork Diving Pet Expo will be held on Saturday, May 20 and 21 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. at Greenport Harbor Brewing Company, 42155 Main Road, Peconic.
This is a pet-friendly event, although dogs must be leashed and well-behaved.
