Mary H. Kirwin of Southold died May 21, 2017 at Eastern Long Island Hospital. She was 98 years old.
She was born in Peconic on August 5, 1918 to Joseph and Mary Zarzecki. She worked as a bookkeeper
After marriage, she worked as a bookkeeper and cook at her husband’s butcher shop in Greenwich, Connecticut. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, clamming and fishing.
Predeceased by her husband Joseph, she is survived by her brother David Zazeski of Mattituck, her sisters Nellie Falcigno of Virginia and Josephine Sorenson of Florida and her sister-in-law Juneanne Zarzecki of Cutchogue.
The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, May 24 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Coster-Heppner Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home followed by interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
