Phillip “Jeff” Weiss, 86

Phillip “Jeff” Weiss of Cutchogue and Baldwin NY died November 5, 2014. He was 86 years old.

Weiss was born to Albert and Martha Weiss on December 5, 1927 in Brooklyn.

Weiss went to Brooklyn Technical High School before attending NYU Polytech. He worked for Weiss Instruments in Holtsville as CEO before retirement.

In 2009, Weiss was inducted into the Fluids Control Instiute Hall of Fame. In his free time he enjoyed sailing and golfing. He also had a knack for inventing.

Predeceased by his wives Lois Meyer and Kathleen Kelly, Weiss is survived by his daughters Meredith E. Weiss of Cutchogue and IsabelWacker of Brooklyn. He leaves behind his five grandchildren Evan and Logan Forsbery of California, Sky Forsbery of Merrick, Laura wacer of South Norwalk, Ct and Lillian Wacker of Brooklyn. He also leaves behind two great grandchildren.

The family will recieve visitors at Coster Heppner Funeral Home on Friday, November 7 from 4 to 7 p.m. and Saturday, November 8 from 12 to 5 p.m. A service will be held during calling hours at 4 p.m. Memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimers Association.
