Southold Town will continue to celebrate its 375th anniversary Saturday with something the community loves best— a good, old-fashioned parade on Main Road.
The 375th Anniversary Parade will kick off at Triangle Park on Route 25 and South Harbor Lane Saturday at 11 a.m. and conclude at Route 25 and Boisseau Avenue. A reviewing stand will be located at Southold Fire Department and a commemorative celebration will take place afterwards at the Southold Historical Society.
The parade is one of the highlights of the year-long celebration, with other events including a regatta last weekend at the Orient Yacht Club and area schoolchildren working on projects to commemorate the anniversary.
