It’s time to put on your dancing shoes, locals. Greenport’s annual Dances in the Park series is back, starting July 4 in Mitchell Park.
Uppercut, whose website describes them as the “ultimate horn-powered band,” will kick off the summer fun at Monday at 7:30 p.m. on the lawn. The band performs tribute songs to the “best of all the great horn bands and your favorite dance hits.”
Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair to sit back and relax between showing off dance moves. Admission is free.
