A popular Westhampton Beach burger joint is about to open up a new location in Mattituck.
Boom! Burger is coming to Mattituck Plaza. It will occupy the former home of Greek Bites, next to the movie theater.
Opening should take place in about two weeks, according to an employee at the Westhampton restaurant.
Boom! Burger is known for its huge menu packed with gourmet burgers made from fresh-ground beef and every imaginable topping — but its menu includes “atomic wings,” chicken sandwiches and a large variety of salads. The Westhampton Beach menu offers shakes and specialty items like fried Oreos.
The restaurant is owned by Anthony Catanzaro and Anthony Cicogna, who describe themselves as “a couple of local guys with a crazy vision: great fresh food at affordable prices!” The pair opened the Westhampton Beach spot to rave reviews in the fall of 2012.
