Peconic Estuary Program hosts Earth Day walking tour

The Peconic Estuary Program is hosting a walking tour of Peconic River on April 23 in celebration of Earth Day.

The tour will highlight PEP programs including the river rock fish passage, the fishing line recycling station and the newly constructed rain garden. During the tour volunteers will be given bags to help clean up debris in the park and along the river.

The tour will depart from Heidi Behr Way in the parking area behind Main Street and begin at Grangebel Park.
