Elizabeth “Betty” Lokkeberg of Jamesport, died on August 15, 2014 at the age of 84.
She is survived by her husband Kenneth, and children Mary Meagher, Judy Schoemmell, Andrew, Phillip, Arne and Michael Lokkeberg and Christopher Anderson.
She is also survived by her 16 grandchildren: Shannon Walker, Kimberly Michiels, John Meagher, Kevin Petty, Melissa Petty, Tara Powers, Robert Schoemmell, Victoria Piecey, Kelly Cox, David Schoemmell, Lena Hallock and Mary, Jammie Lee, Joseph and Maria Lokkeberg and by 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 19 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Reginald H. Tuthill Funeral Home, 406 East Main St. Riverhead. A Mass will be held Wednesday, at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Riverhead. Interment to follow at St. John’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the ASPCA of Long Island.
