Kevin J. Volinski of Southold died on March 2, 2014 of a brain aneurysm at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola. The Greenport native was 58 years old.
He was born in Greenport on November 6, 1955 to Henry and Nellie (nee Burzynski) and was a graduate of Greenport High School. In February of 1995, he married Robin Whitebay at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Greenport.
Kevin had been a professional chef having worked at Legends and Soundview Restaurant.
He is survived by his wife Robin; two children, Colin Volinski of Southold and Emily Volinski of NYC; and three sisters, Sally Pankhurst of Southold, Joann Miska of Mattituck and Joan Wesnofske of Jamesport.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 8 at 12 Noon at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Greenport. The Rev. Garret M. Johnson will officiate.
