Jack B. Pollack, 61, of Greenport died tragically in a house fire on Wednesday.
He was born on Jan. 25, 1953 in Brooklyn, NY, to Benjamin and Helen Pollack. Pollack was disabled; he enjoyed blues and jazz music, animals, politics and world events, old movies, all sports, and was a Jets fan.
Pollack is survived by his beloved wife Karen, his mother Helen Valkavitch of California, his sister Patti McFarland of California, and his sister Bonnie Truman of Colorado.
Visitation will be held at Costner-Heppner Funeral Home in Cutchogue on Sunday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. A funeral service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Ostrabrama Roman Catholic Church in Cutchogue, with interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Memorial donations can be made to the North Fork Animal Welfare League.
