A two-car accident on County Road 48 and Love Lane in Mattituck sent two to the hospital on Thursday.
According to Southold Town police on the scene, the crash, which occurred at approximately 5:15 p.m., involved a Dodge pickup and a Chevy S-10, both of which were heading east on the County Road 48; one vehicle hit a pole.
Both drivers were transported by ambulance to the hospital, police said. Further details were not immediately available.
