Cops: Man busted for driving erratically while on drugs in Southold

A Cutchogue man was arrested Friday after police said he was caught driving erratically while on drugs.

According to Southold Town police, Robert Sullivan, 54, of Cutchogue, was arrested at 10:35 a.m. on Route 25 in Southold after police received a call reporting an erratic driver heading west in a pickup truck.

Officers found and stopped the truck, police said. Sullivan was arrested, charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor, and transported to police headquarters, where he was processed and held pending arraignment, according to the police report.
