Police: Elderly woman injured after hitting two parked cars in Southold accident

An elderly woman has minor injuries after a Southold car accident on Saturday during which she hit two parked cars, police said.

According to Southold Town police, Evelyn Daskin, 86, of New Suffolk, was driving eastbound on New York State Route 25 on Saturday at 12:56 p.m. when she struck two cars parked on the side of the road, near the intersection of Beckwith Avenue.

Daskin, police said, was transported by the Southold Fire Department to Eastern Long Island Hospital, where she was treated for minor injuries.
