Florence Shaw Taylor, of Cutchogue, died April 20, 2014. She was 94.
Born on October 6, 1919 in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of Samuel and Anne Shaw.
She went on to marry Harry Taylor.
Taylor was a school teacher in the Baldwin school district. When not teaching she kept busy with the Cutchogue Methodist Church.
She is survived by her son, Robert Taylor, of New Jersey and her 4 grandchildren.
Services have been entrusted to Coster- Heppner Funeral Home. There will be a memorial held on Saturday, April 26 from 1 to 3 p.m. There will be a private cremation. Donations may be made in Florence’s memory to East End Hospice.
