Red, white and blue were the colors of the day as the annual Fourth of July parade, hosted by the New Suffolk Civic Association, kicked off on Saturday at Tuthill Lane and New Suffolk Avenue.
Friday’s heavy rains prompted a delay of the festivities, but spirits were high on Saturday as a crowd turned out to celebrate Old Glory.
