A Philadelphia man was busted in Mattituck early Wednesday morning for driving drunk, police said.
According to Southold Town police, John P. Harrigan III, 26, was arrested on Route 25 at 1:21 am. after he was stopped for speeding and failure to maintain his lane while traveling eastbound.
Further investigation revealed him to be intoxicated, police said. Harrigan was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, as well as speeding and failure to maintain his lane, police said. He was processed, and held until his arraignment in the morning, police said.
