A Cutchogue man was cuffed early Tuesday in Southold after he drove while on drugs and resisted arrest, police said.
According to Southold Town police, Cody Huntley, 21, was arrested on Tuesday at 1:30 a.m. on Route 25 in Southold after he was stopped for failing to maintain his lane of travel, police said. Police administered field sobriety tests and Huntley was found to be impaired by drugs, police said. He was placed under arrest and charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor, resisting arrest and moving from lane unsafely, police said.
He was transported back to headquarters where he was held for arraignment, police said.
