Despite chilly temperatures and even a few snowflakes, a crowd turned out to participate in the Mattituck-Cutchogue Teachers’ Association’s ninth annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot on Thursday.
Dennis Noncarrow, onhand to cheer on his nephew, Everest Crawfort, from Glouster, Massachusetts, last year’s first place winner who came in second this year, said the event has become an annual tradition for his family and is a great way to bring the community together.
Coming in first this year was Corey Zatniski, with Crawford second, and Collin Seffer, third.
